Ride Riot
Ride Riot Snowboard Boots are designed for hardcore all-terrain riders. The Riot’s design comes straight from Ride Team riders J.J. Thomas, David Aubry and Shane Flood. The Riot’s features Ride’s Secure Fit Harness, which hold your foot down and reduces slip. The boots features a medium to stiff flex and a cool leather outer. Air pockets in the sole and a Wrap liner which forms to your shins are a couple of the great features on this boot.
Riders say these boots do not pack out much, so be careful when ordering. They also say the Riot is a light, comfortable but fairly stiff boot. The Ride Riot comes in sizes 7-13 with half sizes (8.5, 9.5, 10.5, 11.5). The only color choice available is brown.

Best boot I’ve ever ridden. They are a little pricey, but after trying these out I’d be willing to pay even more…
Weight- considering these are made of all leather (exterior), I expected them to be on the heavy side. I was wrong- I can’t believe how light these boots are!
Sizing- The other reviews I’ve seen all say about the same thing- these boots don’t pack out much, and sizing runs a little on the small side. I’m a size 12 foot, and bought size 12 Riots, and I think that’s the best fit for me. They felt tight, almost too tight, when I first tried them on, but after a full 8 hours on the mountain they felt great and I don’t think I would want to go a half size larger (which I probably would have done if I tried them in the store).
Performance- Amazing. They’re pretty stiff boots (and can be even stiffer if you use the inserts that come with them), so if you’re a softy you probably won’t dig ‘em, but for advanced all-mountain riding these things are absolutely heaven. Perfect match up with Ride SPI bindings, I can’t say how they feel with other bindings though… but probably also good. The design on these boots is really well done- they grab your heel and hold it down nice. No slipping around in these.
Overall- Best boots I’ve ever used. The leather outer looks awesome and seems like it will last a long time (haven’t had them long enough to test durability). They are unbelieveably light. The response is glorious- these boots really become ‘one’ with my SPIs when I strap in. I would recommend these to anybody- they are well worth the asking price (but it can’t hurt to look for a nice end-of-the season deal…)
