DC Allegiance

The DC Allegiance is an advanced, stiff all-mountain freeride boot. The Allegiance features the all new BOA Focus system which is dual zone to allow for seperate adjustments of the upper and lower. The Allegiance also features an inflatable air liner, just like your old school Reebok pumps. The boot’s sole was inspired by DC’s skateboard shoes and features the same pill pattern that really grips your board.
Some riders have reported that these boots fit a 1/2 size small. Everyone agrees that the BOA Focus system is a great upgrade to the already very popular BOA system. Some riders do feel this boot just has too much tech going on. The DC Allegiance comes in DC’s full range of sizes but only in Black.

Boot sucks. They break in at certain week points instead of an overall break in, and some materials are just not suited for a boot that claims to be on the stiffer side. Some of the rubbers and synthetic areas buckle and fold, and this creates a weird fit that really reduces responsiveness. After getting what I thought was a deal I realized I probably would have been better off paying retail for a “lesser” boot.
